Faith, Family, & Friends

   These three words represent what gives meaning and purpose to our lives. To the same extent that these are important in your life, they are collectively recognized by Sumter Bible Church to be the foundation for a satisfied life. Building our families in Christ, our friendships in Christ, and our faith in Christ is our ministry.

Our Philosophy

Exhalt...

   We believe our primary function in this world is to worship our Lord with all our heart, soul, and mind.

Edify...

   We believe our responsibility is to build up and equip believers to do the work of God.   

Evangelize...

   We believe in God's command to be His witnesses throughout this world, attempting to reach every person with the Gospel message. 

Our Doctrine

ØWe believe in the Trinity, God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. (Matthew 3:16,17)

ØWe believe in the verbal, complete inspiration of the Bible. (2 Timothy 3:16)

ØWe believe in the virgin birth of Jesus Christ. (Matthew 1:23)

ØWe believe the blood atonement of Jesus is necessary for the forgiveness of sin. (Ephesians 1:7)

ØWe believe the conditions for salvation are repentance and faith.

     (Ephesians 2:8-9)

ØWe believe in the local church and its independence under the headship of Christ. (Colossians 1:18)

ØWe believe in fulfilling the Great Commission. (Matthew 28:19-20)
